PROGRAM OF THE WEEKS
**Week 1: Shaping with sausage technique (April 15//2.5 hours) ** We start by building your lamp base and we learn how to work with sausage technique.
**Week 2: Finishing and Detailing (April 22//2.5 hours) ** We continue working on shape and surface.
**Week 3: Glazing (April 29//2 hours) ** Now the colors are coming on! We will guide you in the work with glaze and effects.
**Week 4: Installing Electricity (May 6//2 hours) ** After your lamp base is burned and glazed, we collect it and insert a light bulb. Finally, we light all the lamps together and check that they work enjoy the sight together.
The ceramics workshop is located on the third floor of the 'Kinderhaven' room in Folkehuset Absalon. You get up there via the stairs at the bar.
It will be about a month before your pottery is ready for pickup, after the course is completed.
When you participate in the process, remember to take pictures of what you have made and write the name on the bottom of your pottery so that it will be easier to find when you are going to pick it up.
Remember to bring clothes that are likely to get dirty.
